I am looking forward to going out fishing this Saturday 5/15/21. I will come back to edit this review after our trip. Three of us are doing a 3/4 day-offshore. We booked this trip with hopes to get away from the boring old usual species we catch all the time in the inter coastal waterways (drum, flounder, trout, Spanish, Bonita etc) and actually fill our coolers with some 10+ pound eaters we can’t quite reach in a Small boat. (Grouper, snapper, cobia, mahi etc.) Let’s hope for clear skies, calm waters and full coolers (oh,and that the sharks and jacks don’t ruin our damn day LOL!) More to come- ~ Brandon B

Our fishing trip was amazing! The morning started off stormy so we were delayed, and I really appreciated Capt. Dave’s approach in waiting for the weather to safely pass before taking us out. Once we were in the water, the fish were biting and my boys had a great time feeling them in. Then Dave suggested we try to hook some sharks, and that was an unexpected surprise! Five sharks and a dozen Spanish mackerel later, we were a very happy crew. My sons learned a lot, and they have not stopped talking about how much fun they have. We had an awesome last minute inshore fishing trip with Captain Keith! We started off the morning with a beautiful sunrise, a porpoise spotting, and he caught shrimp with the cast net. It was great learning a new throwing technique while watching him. We used those shrimp to catch some decent sized black drum, some blue fish, pin fish, a tiny black sea bass, and the catch of the day which was a nice sized flounder that Keith cleaned for us to take home! It was an awesome experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice relaxing fishing trip! ~ Mary A

Wonderful day with kids and grand kids. Captain Keith was very patient, which created an environment where the grand kids not only had a great time but learned some names of fish. This experience added to their love of nature. We all caught fish!!!! That was one year ago. Lolo. Evidently it didn’t post?? 2024 was another wonderful day with captain Keith. Booked a half day charter for myself and four friends, went very well! Captain Andrew and Riley were super nice and informative, answering every question we had. Neither my friends or myself would consider ourselves experienced fishermen when it comes to the ocean but the crew made sure each of us caught at least one shark on our 4 hour trip, in addition to a few tuna and Spanish Mackerel. Recently, my family and I went out with Captain Darien. While the large fish were alluding us (fish were still being caught but undersized), a great time was still had by all. The scenery was amazing, the weather was beautiful, and best part of all our boys (9 and 4) thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Captain Darien was great with them and helped them throughout the trip, ensuring my wife and I were able to enjoy ourselves doing the actual fishing. Capt Heith is the man for sure, awesome dude who is as personable as he is knowledgeable about his trade. He’s not some boring captain who is there do your 4 hrs and some guy. He put us on catching on a hot hot day and made sure my grandson, son in laws, and my son caught fish. Will be looking him up for sure in The fall and catch those Reds! Captain Andrew and First Mate Riley were absolutely awesome! Our family took the early morning 4 hour trip. There were 6 in our group and we are not experienced fisherman. These guys took that into consideration and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great time. Captain Andrew promised us a shark and he drove the boat around to different areas until he found some. We caught 4! Riley was extremely friendly and coached us through the whole excursion. I recently went on a long-line fishing charter for a bachelor party, and it was an incredible experience! Our 4-hour trip was action-packed, and we had great success, catching Spanish mackerel and even a shark. The crew was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone was having a fantastic time. The thrill of reeling in our catches was unforgettable! I highly recommend this charter for anyone looking to have an awesome day on the water. Would undoubtedly recommend this service and we will certainly be return customers. very knowledgeable and always keen to help us to learn and get stuck in, whether that be regarding the fishing technique or an explanation of how to prepare fish to be filleted, gutted, cooked or used as bait. I took my teenage son and his friend fishing with Captain Dan and his first mate Avery. We really enjoyed the 6-hour shark-fishing trip. Clean boat, high-quality equipment, knowledgeable and pleasant crew = good 5* experience. Being from out of town, the charter agent service was useful, setting us with a boat/captain and providing us with detailed instructions on what we needed to bring, where to go, how much to tip, etc. ~ Michael S

Even though the 2 sharks we caught were smaller than the bait used to catch them.. it was a fun trip my kids that stayed awake loved it... which it had been better fishing but then they would call it catching.. Capt Dawson was great very friendly and accommodating... even put up with all my talking and terrible dad jokes and puns... would love to do it again.. but maybe a longer trip ~ wayne d

Capt. Danny Juel and Megan were the best ! They took the time to make sure both our boys caught fish and treated us very nice . I’ve been on a few other charters but this one has been one of the best and my all time favorites! If you are looking for a good fishing trip I would recommend them over and over again ! Our family of 4 went out the Captain Keith and had the Best time!! The boat was comfortable and clean. He had a cooler stocked with drinks. But of course the best part was we had a blast catching big reds, a shark, and lunch!! Keith is knowledgeable, talented, kind and super fun! He interacts great with young kids. We had an amazing day on the water with Captain Keith. He put us on the fish immediately and we had a blast!! We did inshore fishing and even when the bite got tricky he kept us on the fish. Keith was amazing and ensured us first timers had a great time. Great conversationalist also. The boat was a perfect size for our party of two and was in great shape. Keith made sure we caught plenty of fish (7 king mackerel) and also cleaned the fish so we could take some home. Keith made sure my daughter and I had a very memorable experience!!! We fished inshore with Capt. Keith Logan. We fished for black drums and caught our limit quickly. Capt. Keith then took us for trout and redfish. We caught some of those as well. The redfish fight really great on the light tackle we were using. This is the 2nd time we fished with Capt. Keith and both trips were great. Thanks Capt. Im late to leave this review, but our last trip to SC was amazing thanks to Captain Keith over at North Myrtle Beach Fishing Charters. We’ve been coming to SC for the last two years and this is our first time with this charter and it won’t be our last. Keith was fun, friendly, and super knowledgable. We had the best experience with Captain Keith! We went out with two 9 year olds, Keith was very patient and super knowledgeable! As beginners he taught techniques and allowed the boys to have the best fishing experience they have ever had!!! We will definitely be calling Keith again this summer! We had great trip with captain Keith he has great fishing knowledge and abilities with tides and weather conditions. We look forward to our fishing trip every year we come to Cherry Grove! Everything was perfect, except for the weather, but that didn't stop Captain Keith from finding us fish. We had a great time, caught lots of fish! We caught some great flounder and they cleaned and filleted the fish, so we could have them for dinner that night. Definitely recommend a fishing trip with Captain Keith!! ~ Karin K

A friend and I did the inshore 1/2 day trip late in the season, Capt. Keith did everything he could to put us on the fish. We did catch a few. Capt Keith has a great knowledge of the area! The highlight of the trip I feel os when we went and caught fresh bait. That was very cool to do. Will book another teip asap. ~ Tim C

2020-Went with CPT Keith this time and had equally as great of an experience. Would book them again next time in town. 2018- CPT Tripp was a great, hard working, and knowledgeable guide. He tried his best to get us on fish, and my son ended up catching a 55lb Red Drum. Cpt Tripp was laid back, and the trip was a blat. ~ Forrest M
